AC

AC

British company AC, short for Auto Carriers, was founded as a joint venture between a meat trader and an automobile technician. A small three-wheeled goods vehicle in 1903 eventually led to the production of sports cars. Its fame and creativity grew during the 1950s and 60s, thanks in part to the unforgettable Cobra model created in partnership with Shelby Automobiles.
