1976 Honda 750 Hondamatic
Description
Unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1968, it featured a 736 cc four-stroke in-line four engine with chain-driven overhead camshaft. These characteristics set it apart from the muscle bikes of the time. Mechanically, it was equipped with a five-speed transmission and four carburettors. The CB 750 also featured electronic ignition as standard and a front disc brake, both of which were unusual features on standard production bikes at the time. The Honda Four sold a total of 557,000 units through the late 70s.
