LOTUS ELITE S2 “Matching Numbers”

We are pleased to offer this really Rare Matching numbers 1962 LOTUS ELITE S2, with ASI Registration and books, one owner car since the car had imported in Italy.
This very rare car, has survived to the agonistic use of the 750 S2 produced from 1960 to 1963.
This Revolutionary two-seat was presented by Colin Chapman in 1957. It’s a first example of a Fiber Glass single frame with steel inserts, a technique so far used by aeronautical.
Thanks to this construction, the empty weight was only 504 kg and the power of Coventry Climax engine pushed the car over 180 km / h.
This car has also participated in few races documented by pictures

This Amazing Lotus, few years ago had conservative restoration .
