At the end of the ‘40s, the British government imposed Rover to produce a widely used vehicle, able to ease the economic recovery of the country.
The first Land Rover came to light in 1948, clearly inspired by Willys Jeep.
This car could tackle any type of terrain, its strong points being the four-wheel drive grip and the robustness.
The Defender success was huge, so as to gain a large customer base in the British society, from industrial operators, to policemen, up to the Queen.

Its presence in some 007 movies and its use during Queen Elizabeth hunting trips, conferred it a timeless charm.
The Defender stopped being produced in 2016 and nowadays it is a valuable collectible, increasingly more and more desired by fans.
In the last years of production of this model, Rover decided to celebrate this icon with some limited series, such as ours, in a two-tone metallic brown-bronze and black inserts.
The car is in excellent conditions and it has done only 64,000 km.
