1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GTC

The 6C 1750 Compressore is the last of the glorious 1750s, a car which guaranteed Alfa Romeo entry to the pantheon of major sports car manufacturers. Vehicles with these chassis and engines won three editions of the Mille Miglia (from 1928 to 1930)
It was on this mechanical gem that Carrozzeria Touring built the supreme, elegant bodywork of the example in question in 1931.
Built with the Weymann system, exclusive to Touring, which used layers of a special paint applied to the lightweight wood framework which made up the entire body.
In modern times, we can only wonder at the balanced shape and luxurious construction that this automobile allows us to admire.
